変ではない、異常ではないというイメージで「普通の」の意味です。

「試験の前に緊張するのは普通のことです。」

「私は普通の生活を送りたいだけです。」

多くの人や場所でよくあるケースというイメージで「普通の」の意味です。

「心臓病は、最も一般的な死因の一つです。」

「悪い夢を見るのは、子供にはよくあることです。」

高い頻度で起こっているイメージで「普通の」の意味です。
