「案内する」の表現(show around/take around/guide)

今回は「案内する」の表現をまとめていきます！

とりあえずここだけ覚えて！！

「案内する」

guide

ある場所に連れていく、指示して導いて「案内する」という意味になります。

to take someone to a place
LONGMAN

My son will guide me to the school.
「息子が学校まで案内してくれる。」

I’ll guide you all to the station.
「私が皆さんを駅に案内します。」

様々なところに連れて行って「案内する」という意味になります。guideよりもカジュアルな表現になります。

to go around a place with someone when they first arrive there, to show them what is interesting, useful etc

She showed her around the house.
「彼女は家の中を案内した。」

He showed her around Tokyo.
「彼は東京を案内した。」

こちらも「show around」と同様に様々なところに連れて行って「案内する」という意味になります。

Please let me take you around Hawaii.
「わたしにハワイを案内させてください。」

Can I ask you to take me around this university?
「この大学の案内をお願いしてもいいですか？」
