今回は「deep in thought」「deep in conversation」の表現をまとめていきます！

とりあえずここだけ覚えて！！

deep in thought
「考え込んでいる」

deep in conversation
「話し込んでいる」

deep in thought/conversation

一生懸命考えたり何かに注意を払ったりしていて、自分の周りで起こっている他のことに気がつかないイメージで「考え込んでいる」「話し込んでいる」の表現です。

thinking so hard or paying attention to something so much that you do not notice anything else that is happening around you

「彼はその家の娘と深く話していた。」

Clarence and the mayor were still deep in conversation.
「クラレンスと市長はまだ会話を続けていた。」

He was deep in thought.
「彼は、深く考え込んでいた。」
