話題を変えるフレーズ「ところで」の表現(by the way/incidentally)

今回は話題を変えるフレーズ「ところで」の表現をまとめていきます！

「ところで」と話題を変えるときに使えるフレーズです。

used when saying something that is not related to the main subject you were talking about before
LONGMAN

By the way, have you seen my keys anywhere?
「ところで、どこかで私のカギを見ましたか？」

By the way, when is she coming back?
「ところで、彼女はいつ帰ってくるの？」

「ところで」と話題を変えるときや「ちなみに」と情報を付け加えるときに使えるフレーズです。「by the way」よりもフォーマルな表現になります。

used to add more information to what you have just said, or to introduce a new subject that you have just thought of

Incidentally, where were you born?
「ちなみに、どこで生まれたのですか？」

The wine, incidentally, goes very well with a mature cheese.
「ちなみにこのワインは、熟成したチーズにとてもよく合います。」
