今回は「積む」「積み上げる」の表現をまとめていきます！

とりあえずここだけ覚えて！！

乱雑に「積む」

stack (up)
きれいに「積む」

乱雑に「積み上げる」イメージです。

to arrange things in a pile
LONGMAN

Pile the papers on the desk.
「机に書類を積み上げる。」

The books that had been piled up collapsed.
「積み上げていた本が倒れた。」

整然ときれいに「つみあげる」イメージです。

to make things into a neat pile, or to form a neat pile
LONGMAN

I stacked the inventory and stored it.
「在庫を積み上げて保管しておいた。」

Keep the boxes stacked along the wall.
「壁に沿って箱を積み上げておいてください。」
