「なんでもいい」と「どちらでもいい」の表現使い分け！

「なんでもいい」「どっちでも気にしない」は英語で何というのでしょうか！
今回は「なんでもいい」の英語表現を紹介していきます！

とりあえずここだけ覚えて！！
投げやりな「なんでもいい」
I don’t care.
Whatever.

判断をゆだねる「どちらでもいい」
It doesn’t matter.
It makes no difference.
I don’t mind.

投げやりな「なんでもいい」

careは「何かを心配する」「何かを気を遣う」という意味です。

to think that something is important, so that you are interested in it, worried about it etc

「I don’t care」は直訳すると「気を使わない」となり、「どうでもいい」ニュアンスになります。
Ed SheeranとJustin Bieberの「 I don’t care 」という曲があります。PVがすごくテキトーで面白いので、是非チェックしてみてください笑

He looks angry but ,I don’t care.
「彼は怒っているように見えるけど、どうでもいい。」

They’re all looking at me. I don’t care.
「みんなこっちを見ているけど、どうでもいいや。」

whateverは「～するものは何でも」「どんな～でも」という意味が基本ですが、単独で使うとスラングとして「どうでもいい」という意味になります。

used as a reply to say that you do not care what is done or chosen, or that the exact details of something do not matter

「どっちにする？」
「どうでもいい。」

matterは「問題となる」「重要だ」という意味になります。

「It doesn’t matter.」で「それは問題でない」「どちらでもいい」という表現になります。

It doesn’t matter what you wear, as long as you look neat and tidy.
「見た目がきれいであれば、何を着ていてもいいよ。」

直訳すると「違いを生まない」という意味になり、「どちらでもいい」という意味になります。

mindは「気にする」と言う意味で直訳すると「私は気にしない」という意味になり、「どちらでもいい」という意味になります。
