今回は「納得する」の表現をまとめていきます！

be convince
一般的な「納得する」

状況別の「納得する」
①accept
受け入れて「納得する」
②be satisfied
満足して「納得する」
③agree
同意して「納得する」

convince

一般的な「～に納得させる/確信させる」というイメージです。「～が納得する」と言いたいときは「be convinced」と受動態になります。

to make someone feel certain that something is true
LONGMAN

以下のパターンで使われます。

①convince (人) of (モノ/コト)
「(モノ/コト)を(人)に納得させる」

②convince (人) that節
「～を(人)に納得させる」

He tried to convince me of his innocence.
「彼は自分の無罪を私に納得させようと努めた。」

I was convinced that she had been promoted.
「私は彼女が昇格したことに納得した。」

acceptの基本は「受け入れる」で受け入れて「納得する」というイメージです。

to agree to take or deal with something that someone gives you, or to say that it is suitable or good enough

「上司は彼の辞任に納得しなかった。」

I can’ t accept that proposal.
「その提案には納得できない。」

be satisfiedの基本は「～に満足する」で満足して「納得する」というイメージです。

feeling that something is as good as it should be, or that something has happened in the way that you want

I was satisfied with this result.
「この結果に納得した。」

「もしこの給料で納得しないのであれば、1週間以内に連絡してください。」

agreeの基本は「同意する」で同意して「納得する」というイメージです。

to say yes to an idea, plan, suggestion etc

「みんなが納得することが大切だ。」

If you do not agree with this plan, please propose a different idea.
「もしこの計画に納得しないのであれば、違う案を提案してください。」
