暴力を含んだケンカのイメージです。動詞でも名詞でも使われます。

事実を基にして議論するのイメージです。これは名詞ですが、「get into an argument with ~」で「~と口論する」という動詞の意味になります。

quarrelと似た意味ですが、法律用語として使われることが多く、フォーマルなイメージです。
