「鼻水が出る/鼻をかむ」の表現(runny nose/blow my nose)

今回は「鼻水が出る/鼻をかむ」の表現をまとめていきます！

とりあえずここだけ覚えて！！

鼻水が出る
I have a runny nose
My nose is running

鼻水をかむ
I blow my nose

鼻水が出る

※runnyは「液体が流れている状況」を表します。

a runny nose, runny eyes etc have liquid coming out of them, usually because you have a cold
LONGMAN

You’ve got a runny nose. Do you want me to give you a tissue?
「君鼻水が出ているよ。ティッシュをあげようか？」

He looks like his nose is running.
「彼は鼻水が出ているようだ。」

to clean your nose by forcing air through it into a cloth or a piece of soft paper
LONGMAN

I had a terrible cold and spent much of the time blowing my nose.
「私はひどい風邪をひいていて、ほとんどの時間、鼻をかんでいました。」

She took out a handkerchief and pressed it against her eyes, then blew her nose.
「彼女はハンカチを取り出して目に押し当て、鼻をかんだ。」
